Jeff has been a Herndon resident since 1986. He has recently retired from Federal service and wants to continue to serve by contributing to Herndon on the Town Council. His many accomplishments include a successful career as a DoD leader and manager, building and flying his own aircraft, leading his HOA, and being active in the community. He lives on Lisa Court near the W&OD Bike Trail.
Jeff is an active member of the Town of Herndon Historic Sign Committee. Four citizens were appointed by the Town Manager to work with Town staff to develop historic signs around town. These will start to appear at historic locations in 2016. He is also a member of the Town of Herndon Pedestrian and Bicycle Committee. That committee is working on developing safe trails throughout Herndon and other efforts such as lighting the W&OD Trail. The lighting will be extended to Crestview this year. The W&OD crossing at Crestview is a continuing focus. Jeff is President of a small 15 unit Home Owners' Association (HOA) and will continue to pursue solutions for the unique problems of small HOAs. He is a member of the Herndon Historical Society and is a new volunteer for Friday Night Live. In 2012, Jeff became a graduate of the Herndon Police Department's Citizen's Police Academy.
